Hello, I’m Tara.
I’m so glad you are here.
I know that finding the right therapist can feel challenging or near impossible at times. I understand the desire to find someone who gets you, where you feel like you can be yourself. It takes courage to be vulnerable with a new person, and I honor this step you are willing to take for yourself and/or your relationship. I’d like to tell you a little bit about myself and my practice so you can decide if we might be a good fit for working together.
I help you find compassionate connection with yourself and your partner.
I work with clients who are struggling with anxiety, negative self-talk, communication, and relationships. Together we will work towards building trust — in yourself and in your relationships — so you can feel more grounded, connected, and confident.
Who I am
Here’s a little bit about me:

Who you are
You’re looking for the following:
A space that is just for you or your relationship where you can feel completely seen and heard.
An approach that is conversational and compassionate yet direct - one that is formed around your unique needs.
Sessions that are not highly structured or centered around homework but feel more collaborative and experiential.
Humor and laughter - as that’s what the tough parts of life require sometimes.
Outside of Therapy
I was born and raised in Georgia and have loved living in Atlanta for the past 14 years. During my time off you may find me at a yoga class, spending time with my partner or friends, enjoying a lavender latte at a local coffee shop, binging a tv show, reading, or attending a live music event. I would also consider myself a foodie, so I am always open to hearing about your favorite restaurant recommendations!
Personally, I have had my own experiences with navigating anxiety, grief, and relationship issues, so you can trust that I get it! I believe all therapists should go to therapy. I love my therapist, see her regularly, and believe that my own experience with therapy has allowed me to show up more authentically and create a more open space for folks.
